Â The perpetrator also has a history of violence, mental health issues and drug usage, he was charged last weekend with assault charges

A major incident is underway in the Melbourne CBD after a car has mounted the footpath and struck multiple pedestrians, several are believed to be critical including a baby. Â Shots have been fired. Â Major parts of the CBD are in lockdown.
The Herald sun is reporting that one man who wishes not to be named saw a red commodore mount the Bourke street footpath near Elizabeth street whilst being pursued by Police. Â The man said he saw at least 20 bodies strewn across the footpath and feared at least one might be dead.
As shown in the picture below a pram has been hit during the incident, no information on the health of the baby at this stage.
